"Wings for Life World Run - App Run Tunis, Tunisia" programmed for May 5th, 2019 is cancelled5/4/2019  NOTICE:
For day days ago, it was programmed to host the Run For Wings World Run event here in my country but due to lack of time and inability to obtain a visa of participation to organize the international sports event Wings for Life World Run - App Run Tunis, Tunisia on Sunday May 5, 2019 in a timely manner as Tunisia been accepted later, although I received the confirmation in just one week before the big day, I announce the official cancellation of the programmed race as not arriving to collect the appropriate number of contestants representing Tunisia and to be featuted in the list of participating countries in the race it is between 4 to 6 kilometers in the downtown city of Tunis entitled "Run For Those Who Can't..." Where it is an awareness demonstration for jogging enthusiasts with for people special needs ... Thank you for your interaction to the event and your initiative to volunteer in it, but unfortunately, the time is very tight... If you want to Save The Oceans, come join runners from the world between June 8th and July 8th, 20186/7/2018

About 2 million plastic bags are used worldwide every minute. Each one is used an average of 12 minutes before being discarded, but has an estimated life expectancy of 1,000 years. Avoid the unnecessary.
And as part of the fight against pollution, my Tunisia's country has considered a bill banning plastic bags on 2017, this is according to Amer Larayedh the president of The Committee on Industry, Energy, Natural Resources, Infrastructure and the Environment under the Assembly of People's Representatives.
From this point, Parley has launched for runners in partnership with Runtastic this challenge in order to count every mile/ kilometers counting for this initiative.
I personally participated last year for this challenge as you see through posts below and it was an amazing experience by helping as possibly I can by offering those steps to keep protecting the oceans future...
And for the good reason, I'd love to share this blog post with athletes and runners from Tunisia and abroad to motivate and encouraging them to join the event between Friday, June 8th and July 8th, 2018 and to contribute with people across the world against ocean's pollution.
