Facebook announced during F8 the launching of the Developer Community Challenge until July 26th, 2018. The idea is to build software applications that help bring communities together and use at least one Facebook developer product. The idea behind this meetup to: - Explain the community challenge and its different components - Bring together teams that are already created and giving them the opportunity to work together - Give the opportunity to those interested in participating to form teams on the ground - Bring mentors around to help participants. I'm still extremely happy that as Facebook's leader network focusing especially for the countries in the MENA region and take it as a part of their interests and believe to talents in web/ mobile development, coding, building new technologies and more. And as I attended for the second time for the events organized by the Developer Circles from Tunis and in the framework of enriching my talents in the development field, I met with students and professionals coming from every corner of the downtown Tunis in the morning of the holy month of Ramadan and the meeting was started at Cogite Coworking Space at 10:30am for a collaborative time between developers for about 4 - 5 hours despite the fasting. The competitors were about to be forming into groups or individuals depending on their choices to work for this challenge that it lasts for approximately to two months to start building solutions that give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together, and this by using at least one Facebook developer product according the criteria of the challenge. * For more info about the Facebook Community Challenge 2018 and if you are looking to join the adventure see the button below this blog post.
