About 2 million plastic bags are used worldwide every minute. Each one is used an average of 12 minutes before being discarded, but has an estimated life expectancy of 1,000 years. Avoid the unnecessary.
And as part of the fight against pollution, my Tunisia's country has considered a bill banning plastic bags on 2017, this is according to Amer Larayedh the president of The Committee on Industry, Energy, Natural Resources, Infrastructure and the Environment under the Assembly of People's Representatives.
From this point, Parley has launched for runners in partnership with Runtastic this challenge in order to count every mile/ kilometers counting for this initiative.
I personally participated last year for this challenge as you see through posts below and it was an amazing experience by helping as possibly I can by offering those steps to keep protecting the oceans future...
And for the good reason, I'd love to share this blog post with athletes and runners from Tunisia and abroad to motivate and encouraging them to join the event between Friday, June 8th and July 8th, 2018 and to contribute with people across the world against ocean's pollution.
