* DE JONG ON PLAYING WITH MESSI
''Of course, I'm really happy I'm going to play with him but I'm looking forward to playing with the whole squad. I think all the players really talented, not only Messi of course he's the best - but, yeah, we will see how it's gonna work out on the field, I think it's difficult to say something about it now'' DE JONG: FOOTBALLER IN BODY AND SOUL. ALAIN GIRESSE: In mental means, and that's where it's most complicated, it's a game involving two teams who are disappointed at not playing the final. It's a final involving two teamswho were eliminated, so getting players motivated is not the same. We're missing the energizing dynamic of playinga semi-final to reach the final. That's the problem of this kind of game, trying to get the players motivated after a kind of disappointment that has left them a little listless. We're taking things slowly, depending on how the troops are going, the state of the players. Yesterday we had training although it was more of a recovery session. Not everyone was able to participate, we'll review it later at noon, then later in the afternoon too. On the players behaviour, attitude, state of mind, really, I have nothing to say about the approach they've had, and how they have responded to what has been asked of them. But in terms of taking stock of our campaign, I think we'll do that at a later date, but we can say we gace it everything in all our games. MOHAMED DRAGER:
I don't think anyone needs to get extra motivation for this game. We are all professional players and we need to want to win every game, even if it's a game about the 20th or 90th place. For me, I don't care, I would like to win every game. I think we are are in the same shape like Nigeria. It was a tough tournament, a tough long time, I think we don't need to complain about our shape because Nigeria is in the same shape, like the coach said earlier before, we've had recovery exercices, and I think we'll be as ready as possible for the game. |
