While Tunisia is one of the few countries in the field of film production, this is despite the fact that there are great artistical talents, unfortunately, outside the country. El Gouna Film Festival, that is now playing in Egypt and started from September 20 to 28, 2018 at El Gouna tourist resort in Hurghada on the Red Sea coast with important film producers even at the global level. GFF 2018 is honored by the approval of some distinguished groups of exceptional film personalities and admission to the membership of the International Advisory Committee even before the International Festival. The Tunisian side is Tunisian businessman and film producer Tarak Ben Ammar and Tunisian actress and starring Hend Sabry. In particular, the creative creativity prize will be given to the Tunisian producer Dorra Bouchoucha and the Egyptian director Daoud Abdel Sattar while the third name will be announced in the evening. Tunisia confirms its attendance at the El Gouna Film Festival this year in the feature narrative film competition "Dear Son", directed by Mohamed Ben Attia, his second film after "Nhebak Hadi", which has won many important prizes. In short films, for short films we find "Sheikh's Watermelon" for Kaouther Ben Hania "The Gift" by Latifa Doghry, 20 minutes long, this may be interested for public to follow its story about one of the most sensitive social issues in the Arab world.
